Dr. Robert Lücke

Patent attorney

Dr. Robert Lücke was born in 1973, studied biochemistry at the University of Regensburg and supplemented his studies by a stay abroad at the University of Edinburgh in the field of immunology and medical microbiology, for which he was awarded a prize. After his PhD thesis on the inactivation of onco-proteins at the Department of Structural Biology of the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, he worked in the research department of a biotech company.

He has worked in intellectual property since 2006. His technical specialization mainly lies in pharmaceutics, molecular biology, biotechnology and chemistry. Robert Lücke advises and represents German and international clients ranging from start-ups to large companies, the focus being on patent prosecution, opposition and nullity procedures and on the assessment of validity and infringement questions. In addition to his work in our patent law firm, he teaches intellectual property within the framework of “Biomedical Engineering” studies of the RWTH Aachen University.
