Dirk Szynka studied physics in Göttingen and at RWTH Aachen and worked at the Institute for Solid State Research (IFF) and, as a PhD student, at the Institute for Thin Film and Ion Technology (ISI) in the research center KFA Jülich. In 1997, he founded his patent attorney office which became our today’s Munich office in 2002. There, his focus is on patent and utility model law, in particular on opposition, nullity, and infringement proceedings, on precautionary infringement analysis and settlement negotiations.

The technical range covers electrical engineering and electronics, various physical and chemical including medical technologies, as well as sanitary and construction technologies. A further focus is on trademarks.
