CLAUDIA KOERVER, LL.M.

ATTORNEY-AT-LAW

Claudia Koerver (née Apel) studied law at the Leibnitz University of Hannover. After finishing her studies and legal training amongst others in Paris, she completed her legal clerkship in Berlin and Capetown. She has worked as an Attorney-at-Law since 2002. Since 2004, her focus has been in the field of industrial property protection, in particular in the field of trademark, design and competition law. In 2009, she obtained the “Mast of Law” (LL.M.) qualification in the field of intellectual property protection from the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf. She has worked in our office since January 2010.

Claudia Koerver advises in all aspects of trademark, design and competition law. Her particular focus is on establishing, defending and enforcing of national and international trademark portfolios, including prosecution as well as opposition and nullity proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) and the EUIPO. She has extensive experience in trademark settlement and contractual work. She joined the Düsseldorf office in January 2010.
