Gregor König (born in 1966), after completing his studies in Munich and Paris and graduating in molecular biology, biochemistry and patent law, commenced his practice in the field of intellectual property rights in 1993 in a Paris-based patent law firm. Gregor König represents national and international market leaders in the fields of Molecular Biology, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Chemistry and Engineering before the German and European Patent Office. He specializes in complex cases before the Federal Patent Court and the Federal Supreme Court involving international invalidity and litigation strategy. He consults in international co-operation and licensing strategies. Currently, he is teaching Pharma/Biotech-Patent-Law at the University of Düsseldorf and the university of Aachen. He is also professionally active through lectures in national and international conferences and publications on the subject of intellectual property rights. In JUVE 2008 Gregor König is ranked one the top 14 recommended patent attorneys in Germany and one of the three top recommended patent attorneys in the field of Biotechnology and further recommend by Legal 500 for pharmaceutical and biotechnological matters. |
