ATTORNEY-AT-LAW

Claudia Koerver (née Apel) studied law at the Leibnitz University of Hannover. After finishing her studies and legal training amongst others in Paris, she completed her legal clerkship in Berlin and Capetown. She has worked as an Attorney-at-Law since 2002. Since 2004, her focus has been in the field of industrial property protection, in particular in the field of trademark, design and competition law. In 2009, she obtained the “Mast of Law” (LL.M.) qualification in the field of intellectual property protection from the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf. She has worked in our office since January 2010.

Claudia Koerver advises and supports our clients in setting up and maintaining national and international trademark portfolios as well as in questions relating to design protection. The focus of her work are application procedures, opposition procedures and nullity proceedings before the respective offices. She also advises on contractual matters relating to trademark and design rights.
